The Best of Lake Minnetonka Since 1996!

Spring Park

Spring Park was originally settled in 1853, but wasn’t incorporated until nearly a century later in 1951.

In the late 1800s, perhaps the most elegant of all Lake Minnetonka’s grand hotels was erected on Spring Park Bay at the site of the Minnetonka Mist. The “Hotel Del Otero” was a sprawling three story structure with a large ballroom, a screened promenade and a casino. For recreation, the hotel provided sailboats, lawn bowling, picnic grounds, a private beach and classical music concerts.

Sadly, this landmark hotel burned in 1945. But rest assured – there is no shortage of lakeside entertainment in Spring Park. Some of the most popular spots on the lake are located here, including the world-renowned Lord Fletcher’s.
